Annual Educational Conference
Scholarships
Scholarship Criteria and Process
The CMA’s Annual Educational Conference scholarship program is available for affiliate members of the CMA. Medical school students are given top priority; priests, religious, and other students are also eligible.
For 2010, the scholarship covers the majority of costs ($390.00 of the $490.00 full registration cost) for a full conference package, which includes presentations, breakfasts and lunches, and the banquet. Applicants must be members of the CMA; non-members must either join online or enclose a membership form and payment with this application. Applicants are responsible for the remainder of the registration fee ($100.00) and for their own travel and accommodations (see cathmed.org for more information about alternative hotel accommodations).
The CMA encourages medical students to work with local CMA guilds and members in their area to obtain additional funding if needed. Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to those qualifying. Deadline for application is September 30, 2010.
