An Evening with G.K. Chesterton

with Exquisite Desserts and Featured Northwest Wines

Join the dynamic duo of Dale Ahlquist and Chuck Chalberg for an unforgettable evening with G.K. Chesterton. Experience the dazzling brilliance, the rhetorical genius, and the side-splitting humor that made Chesterton one of the most memorable intellectual lights of the 20th century.

Dale Ahlquist is president of the American Chesterton Society. Dale’s talks on Chesterton have delighted audiences around the country and around the world. He has spoken at Yale, Columbia, NYU, Penn, Villanova, University of Georgia, University of Tulsa, University of Iowa, and many others. He has given talks in England, Australia, Switzerland, and Canada. Dale is the author of G.K. Chesterton - The Apostle of Common Sense and Common Sense 101: Lessons from G.K. Chesterton. Alquist is also creator and host of the popular "Apostle of Common Sense" televison series on EWTN.

Dr. John "Chuck" Chalberg entertains many audiences throughout the United States with his historical impersonations of American and British characters, including President Theodore Roosevelt and G.K. Chesterton. His characterizations of Theodore Roosevelt and H.L. Mencken began as an extension of his teaching of American History at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. In recent years he has added George Orwell, Branch Rickey, and most recently Bobby Jones, while reviving a past character, Huey Long.

The evening’s entertainment will be enhanced by a medley of exquisite desserts and a selection of fine Northwest wines. Second in size only to California, and on a latitude equal to the great French regions of Bordeaux and Burgundy, eastern Washington has become world famous for the quality of its grapes and wines.
