Democrat Advisor Gives “Honest Advice” on Health Care Reform
October 17, 2009
Clinton administration Treasury Secretary and Obama advisor Robert B. Reich gave a speech in Berkely in 2007 in which he described what an honest presidential candidate could and should say about health care reform. Is it possible , based on what we have seen so far in health reform legislation, that members of Congress are following Reich's advice, but not using his frank speech?
A good analysis of the original speech can be found at Verum Serum, as well as a discussion of Reich's reaction to the release of his speech.
