Former Pro-Life State AG Under Attack

January 28, 2011

Former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline is being attacked for prosecuting illegal abortion during his tenure in office. The Kansas Supreme Court, five members of which were appointed by pro-abortion Governor Kathleen Sebelius, are set to try Kline on alleged “ethics violations” – essentially, the charge is that Kline’s pro-life convictions undermined his fairness and objectivity in the performance of his duties.

In 2007, Kline led the first successful effort to file criminal charges against Planned Parentood (and notrious abortionist George Tiller) for illegal abortions. Prior to politically motivated meddling, Kline had won a ruling from a state district judge, who ruled there was probable cause to believe that Planned Parenthood committed 107 criminal acts, including 23 felonies.

Kline needs two things at this time: First, prayers and statements of support from across the country. And second, donations to help pay for the cost of his legal defense. More information and an opportunity to donate can be found here.
