The Chapel of Four Chaplains and its Foundation presented the Legion of Honor Humanitarian Award

(Sept. 23, 2017, Philadelphia, PA), The Chapel of  Four Chaplains and its Foundation presented the Legion of Honor Humanitarian Award (posthumously) to Fr. Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli (Pope Saint John XXIII) for his exemplary service as an Army Medic and Military Hospital Chaplain in World War I.  Members of the Catholic Medical Association received the award on behalf of the recipient.  You can read more about the life of Fr.
