Prayer and Fasting for HHS Secretary Appointment

Please join me in prayer and fasting as the United States will soon appoint a new Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We ask God to guide our lawmakers to a decision which will uphold the sanctity of life.

At stake in this monumental decision is the health and safety of every American.

As CMA members, you know the critical role conscience protection plays in your ability to freely practice ethical medicine guided by science and faith.

We pray that whoever serves as the next HHS Secretary, will respect the rights of health care professionals and understand the importance of conscience and religious freedoms, as they relate to our relationships with patients.

As the nomination process unfolds over the next few days, please pray and fast so that the sanctity of life and the dignity of each person, from the moment of conception to natural death, is considered by those tasked with appointing the new Secretary.

Sincerely in Christ

Michael S. Parker, M.D.
President
