Two CMA Events Not to Miss: Registration Open
February 10, 2025

It is that time again to start planning for the Medical Student and Resident Boot Camp and the Leadership Training Meeting, both inspiring and educational CMA summer events.
Boot Camp is a several-day intensive formation experience of prayer, study, practical training, and mentoring with leading Catholic Medical Association physicians, priests, and moral theologians. It is a time of renewal and commissioning for medical students and physician in residency training programs.
Boot camp helps students and residents to more fully live and understand the Catholic faith and moral tradition to thrive as faithful Catholic physicians; develop skills to help organize Catholic support groups within medical schools and residency programs, and evangelize Catholics and non-Catholics encountered throughout medical training.
Past attendees have described this event as life-changing, enriching and leading to close friendships that help them get through the hardships faced in their medial training.

Along side Boot Camp, the Leadership Training Meeting takes place at the beautiful University of Saint Mary of the Lake / Mundelein Seminary in Mundelein, Illinois.
The LTM is a three-day conference that provides members with the tools and skills necessary to become more engaged in CMA locally, regionally and nationally. This year’s LTM will offer a guild and state director workshop along with opportunities to mentor and share in fellowship with the Boot Camp attendees — a highlight for both groups.
